Compliance with Saudi Arabia's Data Cybersecurity Controls
National Cybersecurity Authority’s mandate as per the Royal Decree number 6801, dated 11/2/1439H, makes NCA the cybersecurity regulator in the Kingdom. The NCA issued the Data Cybersecurity Controls (DCC-1: 2022), developed in compliance with Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC-1: 2018) by Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and other advanced local and international regulations.
This is a major regulatory act, compliance with which is obligatory for numerous organizations. The complex regulatory act contains various regulations. To meet all of them, it’s required to implement complex approach and ensure the advanced information security protection.
