Two breaches bring to company's shut down
17.06.2019

It is the second time LandMark White, property valuation company, has been suspended from the valuation panels. Affected by the two data leaks the organisation has started to consider selling “the whole or parts” of the business.

The second suspension impacted the company’s workflow and made it talk about the sale of the business due to the fact that the reinstatement by the organisation’s major lenders, among which there are three country’s largest banks, didn’t follow the breaches.

The incident is claimed to have been caused by a saboteur. The offender uploaded a number of documents to a file-sharing site SCRIBD.

The first data leak cost LandMark White 7 million dollars, and the second one exposed a limited amount of private details.

Compromised data led to the company’s potential complete disposal.
