Disney accounts hacked hours after service launch
18.11.2019

The new video streaming service created by Disney have gathered about 10 million people willing to register and access the content within 24 hours after its launch.

And a few hours after accounts got compromised by violators and put up for sale on the Dark Web.

Account holders informed the company by posting messages in social media saying that their logins and passwords were affected depriving them of their rights as registered users.

Some accounts cost even more than the official ones do - $11 on forums ($7 from Disney).

The breach wasn’t the only problem, there was even a bigger one – many users reported some technical issues as video wouldn’t load for watching.
