TrueDialog got its database with millions of accounts exposed

The TrueDialog company, messaging solution provider for businesses and higher education, compromised millions of accounts, including emails, encrypted and unencrypted passwords and usernames as well as details for Facebook and Google accounts and access information to online medical services

The unprotected database appeared to be publicly accessible, exposing millions of text messages on the website containing names, addresses and phone numbers.

If the information was obtained by violators it can be reworked for fraudulent activities or phishing. The misuse of accounts could cause some predicament to businesses which use the service.

The unsecured cloud database was available to the public during unknown period of time, and the information was closed promptly after the database was discovered.
