Throckmorton Country Memorial Hospital is facing the recent data breach consequences. The incident could impact the personal details of employees and patients’ records.
The information leakage was detected on September 7. The reason for the incident appeared to be unauthorised access as well as malware.
Marten Transport, trucking company in USA, went through a cyberattack in October. The employee data could have been affected.
The hacker group which targeted the company, stated in its announcement that about 100GBs had been taken.
The organisation didn’t comment on whether it was a ransomware attack or not though. The number of affected employees and the amount of lost data wasn’t disclosed by Marten Transport so far. The investigation is ongoing.
