Vestas employees’ personal data got stolen in an incident which occurred in November.
Besides the fact that the file share systems were accessed by an unauthorised party, it was confirmed that the personal data was taken from the internal corporate storages.
Names, contact information, such as addresses, emails, phone numbers, residence details, data about education, training and job-related details, images, CV letters, even some employment details, payroll, personal documents concerning work, travel information was among the leaked data.
There were also some individuals who got their passport details, certificates, driver’s license, work permits, medical records, bank account data affected.
The investigation is ongoing.
The company’s representatives have already become aware of possible offer of the lost data to third parties.
