The main character in today's story worked for a retail company. For a while, both he and his superiors were satisfied with everything about his work, but all good things must come to an end.
One day, the information security officers have noticed unusual activity from our character. He began to compile a technical description of the network into a single document. The process seemed to be suspicious, shall we say, such actions were out of his responsibility.
After a moment's hesitation, the information security officers disabled a USB port on a PC and opted for data encryption. Spoiler alert: they made the right decision.
