On November 18, SearchInform held the “Future of Information Security: Protection as a Service” event in Riyadh. Co-hosted with AFAQ Security, the road show gathered IS leaders, IT specialists, and business executives.

At the meeting, information security experts of SearchInform and AFAQ Security shared insights into how organizations can ensure robust data protection amid rising internal threats. The speakers explored effective ways of preventing such incidents as unauthorized access violations, data leaks, and fraud and avoiding regulatory non-compliance.

As Saudi Arabia is committed to digital transformation, ensuring robust security measures is essential to its successful implementation.

“Our event is aimed at sharing experience and introducing a new concept: protection as a service. A significant lack of information security professionals is a serious challenge for Saudi Arabia pursuing the highest level of digitalization. According to recent ISC2 research, in 2023 the KSA had a shortage of over 14,000 security specialists. This year the gap reached 18,000 employees. In this context, Managed Security Service (MSS) is a smart and cost-effective way of staying protected. We are witnessing local companies’ keen interest in MSS and have already received a number of requests for trials,” says Lev Matveev, founder of SearchInform.
