The DLP system expands its ASR capabilities to enhance audio content analysis.
SearchInform has introduced AI-powered speech analysis into its next-gen DLP system, Risk Monitor. Customers can now enable Whisper AI as an ASR system and apply content analysis to audio data as part of their information security workflows.
With ASR technology, the DLP system can analyze potential security incidents across multiple audio sources, including audio files, voice messages and calls in messengers and social networks, as well as audio streams from online meetings and video conferences. The engine automatically converts speech into text and analyzes it for potential violations of information security policies.
“Whisper AI analyzes conversations with up to 95% accuracy, greatly simplifying the work of information security specialists and automatically detecting suspicious discussions. Risk Monitor performs this analysis in real time and alerts security teams to possible incidents. For example, if a manager and counterparty say phrases such as ‘my price,’ ‘to my bank account,’ or similar, the DLP system flags the potential risk,” explains Sergio Bertoni, Lead Analyst at SearchInform.
The module operates on both Windows and Linux platforms and supports more than 30 languages. To optimize performance, organizations can choose among different Whisper models: larger models provide higher analysis accuracy, while lightweight versions deliver faster processing. The required model can be chosen on the website of the system developer – OpenAI. By default, Risk Monitor includes a balanced configuration that ensures optimal speed and accuracy while minimizing system load.
In addition to Whisper AI, Risk Monitor also supports the Vosk ASR engine, allowing organizations to select the model that best fits their infrastructure and operational requirements. Both ASR modules are deployed with the DLP system at no additional cost.
Speech analysis models and features are managed through the AAServer component. All ASR systems run locally, ensuring that sensitive data remains within the organization’s infrastructure and that confidentiality requirements are fully preserved.
