On Tuesday Royal Mail blocked access to online postage and parcel tracking service. 

It was found out, that because of a technical bug some customers could view data on other customers’ orders. 

The issue started at 13:00 GMT, an hour later the website was shut by Royal Mail experts. At about 18.00 GMT the issue was solved and the web-site was working properly.
