Australian large company Latitude Financial, involved in the financial industry has experienced a data leak incident.

In general, as the result of this major data security incident, more than 100,000 identification documents, including copies of drivers' licenses and more than 220,000 customer records were leaked. Presumably, the intruder managed to obtain employee login credentials and accessed the confidential data.

The company is notifying the affected parties and taking actions to mitigate the incident’s consequences.
