Information security survey 2018
In 2018, SearchInform conducted a series of seminars as part of its Road Show across four regions worldwide: South Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, Latin America, and the CIS. Participants from these regions took part in an annual anonymous survey, providing insights into their level of data risk awareness and expertise across ten industries, including IT, power engineering, manufacturing, transport, finance and banking, retail, hospitality, healthcare, state defense, logistics, and construction.
A total of 15 countries shared their experiences and the methods they have implemented to protect corporate networks. The survey results highlight regional differences in cybersecurity practices and the growing importance of data security measures. These insights aim to promote knowledge exchange and enhance cybersecurity resilience across diverse industries and regions.
