On 21-23 January, Dubai (UAE) hosted the INTERSEC 2018 International Trade Fair for Security, Safety and Fire Protection where SearchInform presented a complex solution for protection of business from data leakage and corporate fraud. The MLP suite (Money Loss Prevention) includes a DLP system, SearchInform Data Loss Prevention (SearchInform DLP), and a set of tools for investigating, SearchInform Forensic Suite.

The Middle East companies already use the SearchInform solutions. We actively cooperate with local resellers, observe information security threats typical for this region, and develop a strategy. We focus on the business integrity, which is far beyond the concept of DLP. Protection of data from leakage or deletion is just one part of a successful security strategy. Along with the technology development, there emerge new ways to monetize access to data or position in the company. And data leakage is not the most profitable way anymore. Our solutions protect companies from internal threats of various types, fraud, sabotage, as well as from risks related to addictions of employees and terrorism,” said Sergei Yavchenko, SearchInform Director of International Business Development and Partnerships.

In 2018, INTERSEC, the largest international trade fair on comprehensive security, was held for the 20th time. And this time, remarkably, became the largest one in the event history. This year the trade fair gathered 1,337 participants from 59 countries and 32,700 expert visitors from 129 countries. The products and solutions on the global technological platform were divided into seven sections: business security, information security, fire protection, safety and health, national security and law enforcement, perimeter protection and physical security, smart home.

INTERSEC 2018 included 15 national pavilions operating. The Russian pavilion was arranged with the support of the Russian Export Center (REC). In the business area of the joint stand, a number of business meetings were held, including meetings with Girish Kartmantra, Procurement and Logistics director of NAFFCO. During the meetings, Russian participants were able to individually present their developments and solutions.
