SearchInform Strengthens Cybersecurity Dialogue at CyberDSA 2026 in Malaysia

SearchInform took part in Cyber Digital Services, Defence & Security Asia (CyberDSA) 2026, held from 5 to 7 October at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur. The company participated together with local partner Raddish Technology, joining cybersecurity leaders, technology innovators, government and defence representatives, and industry professionals from across the region.
CyberDSA has become a key regional platform for cyber defence, digital security and trusted digital transformation. The 2026 edition was held under the theme “Advancing Secure AI, Strengthening Digital Trust, and Safeguarding Data Sovereignty” and focused on challenges shaping the next stage of cybersecurity development, including data protection and critical infrastructure.
AI was also a prominent topic at CyberDSA. As AI becomes increasingly integrated into everyday business processes, organizations need to consider how employees work with corporate information, what data may be shared with new digital services and how security teams can identify risky activity that falls outside conventional detection rules.

SearchInform presented AI-powered capabilities that analyze the context and intent of corporate communications to identify incidents that traditional security policies may miss and help security teams process information more efficiently.
“For SearchInform, CyberDSA was an opportunity to engage directly with Malaysian organizations, partners and cybersecurity professionals. Over the three-day event we held dozens of meetings and presented our approach to data protection, insider risk management and information security monitoring. Risk Monitor attracted particular interest among local experts and customers because it brings together DLP, user activity analysis, data discovery and classification, as well as an AI-enhanced layer of protection within a single solution. This integrated approach was considered by attendees as the comprehensive and actual solution for efficient countering of arising insider-related threats and necessary component of ensuring security of digital assets,” said Francis Yeoh, Country Director SearchInform Malaysia.
SearchInform has been expanding its presence in Southeast Asia and opened an office in Kuala Lumpur in July 2026. Participation in CyberDSA marked another step in the company’s development in Malaysia and supported closer engagement with customers, partners and cybersecurity professionals in the region. The event provided an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with Raddish Technology and other local industry participants. Such partnerships help combine cybersecurity technology and international expertise with local knowledge of business requirements and adopt it even more precisely to the security challenges, actually faced by Malaysian organizations.
As organizations across Southeast Asia accelerate digital transformation and adopt AI-driven technologies, SearchInform plans to continue contributing to the regional cybersecurity dialogue and supporting projects focused on data protection, insider risk management and stronger cyber resilience.
