SearchInform has integrated an AI module into its Next-Gen DLP system Risk Monitor to streamline security operations. AI Cybersecurity Assistant analyzes messages and files in corporate email and messengers, detects complex incidents that standard methods cannot identify, and translates texts into multiple languages directly in the Risk Monitor interface.
The new tool interprets the context of corporate correspondence and recognizes concealed signs of violations. AI Cybersecurity Assistant runs on preconfigured prompts available in Risk Monitor as ready-to-use AI-powered security policies. Based on these prompts, the system detects threats in email and messenger dialogues and assigns labels to them, such as "kickback," "request for a card transfer," "theft," or "trade secret disclosure." Only an AI Cybersecurity Assistant can perform this kind of classification, as it understands context and business processes and takes the tone of communication into account.
Unlike standard security policies, AI policies process entire email chains and chat threads rather than individual messages, so an incident is flagged even when its signs are scattered across a long discussion.
"The AI assistant recognizes even well-disguised attempts to bypass corporate rules. At the same time, the module runs on premises: the company's confidential data never leaves its perimeter," explains Sergio Bertoni, Lead Analyst at SearchInform.
The module also provides infosec specialists with concise summaries of lengthy conversations and documents. Along with the summary, it highlights the suspicious details that triggered the alert – the reasoning behind each detection can be verified to ensure that the final decision always remains with the specialist.
"The AI assistant automates routine tasks and saves hours of work," comments Sergio Bertoni. "For instance, when investigating a suspected kickback in correspondence with a foreign partner, the AI immediately flags the dialogue, translates the key fragments, and generates a brief summary. This lets the infosec team focus on decision-making."
In addition, AI Cybersecurity Assistant translates conversations and documents from 120 languages into English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, and Turkish, with more languages on the way. Translation runs in real time and requires no connection to external services, which is fully in line with security requirements.
The new capabilities are available in both the desktop and web versions of Risk Monitor once the AI Cybersecurity Assistant is deployed. In future releases, the developers plan to extend the use of AI to incident analysis in manual and automated modes and to add support for new languages.
