SearchInform Expands AI-Powered Security Policies in Risk Monitor

05.08.2026

SearchInform has expanded the range of ready-to-use AI-powered security policies available in its Next-Gen DLP system, SearchInform Risk Monitor. The update enables the platform to identify concealed security incidents involving payment data and detect employee-related risks more accurately.

A new group of AI policies, “Job Search and Resignation,” identifies signs that employees are being approached by competitors, preparing to change jobs, or expressing dissatisfaction with working conditions.

The “Emotional Instability” group has also been expanded with an AI policy designed to detect workplace conflicts and dissatisfaction with colleagues or management decisions. These capabilities help organisations identify negative sentiment at an early stage, reduce the risk of losing valuable employees and detect potential sabotage or deliberate harm to the business.

A new AI policy in the “Finance” group detects the transfer of bank card numbers. Such activity may indicate a leak or unauthorised disclosure of customers’ payment data, or an employee sharing card details to receive payment for questionable services.

The policy can detect card numbers even when they are deliberately disguised, for example when some digits are written as words.

“AI-powered policies consider the context of an incident, the tone of discussions and the specifics of business processes. This makes them more accurate than conventional search algorithms,” said Sergio Bertoni, Leading Analyst at SearchInform.

“For example, standard detection methods may fail when a user splits a card number into several fragments across a message, or when a CV does not follow a typical template. AI can identify these cases, which is why we are actively integrating it into Risk Monitor. This significantly improves the system’s effectiveness,” added Bertoni.

The update extends Risk Monitor’s set of ready-made AI policies across key internal security use cases, including data leakage, fraud and high-risk employee groups.

Analysis is performed using the pre-trained AI model and integrated into Risk Monitor as an embedded module. The policies require no additional configuration and can be activated directly in the Risk Monitor AlertCenter interface.

The AI module operates locally, ensuring that corporate data remains within the organisation’s security perimeter.
